I don’t have to be good at everything (which is why I’m not putting pressure on myself to be a writer with my blog anymore) – it’s worth it to find out what you could do without and get people to help
I’m no longer in as much of a rush to succeed and trying to enjoy the journey
it’s ok that past you didn’t know some things you do now (don’t dwell on guilt or shame feelings for not being where you’re want to be or having not been the best at any point)
In the beginning you will compare yourself a lot, but as time goes on you learn and it gets easier to focus on your own lane and strengths
You can only focus on so much at once – understanding this helps (try having goals by seasons)
Your work is not the only thing about you, and it helps to build this into your lifestyle by taking breaks, having an outside personal life, etc. so you remember this when it’s a tough work season
I found that if you treat clients with honest and friendly communication, like a real person behind the screen, and grace/understanding (with them) they will usually do the same with you and don’t care about “mistakes” nearly as much as you probably do
